1. Connect Your Ledger Device:
Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer.

In Ledger Live, select "Get Started" and choose "Initialize a new Ledger device."

Your Ledger device will display a 24-word recovery phrase. Write down each word in the exact order on the provided recovery sheet. This recovery phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if the device is lost or damaged. Keep it safe and never share it with anyone.
6. Confirm Your Recovery Phrase:
Ledger Live will prompt you to confirm your recovery phrase by selecting the correct words in order using your Ledger device. This ensures you have accurately recorded your recovery phrase.

After confirming your recovery phrase, you'll be directed to the Ledger Live dashboard.
2. Install Apps:
In Ledger Live, go to the "Manager" section. Here, you can install apps for different cryptocurrencies on your Ledger device. For example, to manage Bitcoin, install the Bitcoin app.
3. Add Accounts:
Once the necessary apps are installed, you can add accounts for each cryptocurrency. Go to the "Accounts" section, click on "Add account," and follow the prompts to add your chosen cryptocurrency accounts.

In the Ledger Live dashboard, you can view an overview of your portfolio, including balances and recent transactions for each added account.
2. Send and Receive Cryptocurrency:
To send cryptocurrency, go to the "Send" tab, select the account to send from, and enter the recipient's address and amount. Confirm the transaction on your Ledger device. To receive cryptocurrency, go to the "Receive" tab, select the account to receive into, and display your address to the sender. Confirm the address on your Ledger device.
3. Check Transaction History:
In the "Accounts" section, you can view detailed transaction history for each of your cryptocurrency accounts.
4. Explore DeFi and Other Services:
Ledger Live integrates with various decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, allowing you to lend, borrow, and trade directly from your Ledger device. Explore the "Discover" section to find DeFi services, staking options, and other blockchain applications.
5. Keep Your Firmware Updated:
Regularly check for firmware updates in the "Manager" section of Ledger Live to ensure your Ledger device has the latest security features and improvements.

Your recovery phrase is the only way to recover your funds if your Ledger device is lost or damaged. Keep it in a safe and secure place, and never share it with anyone.

Always verify the authenticity of the Ledger Live application and the Ledger website to avoid phishing attacks. Never enter your recovery phrase into any online form or website.
